BCM as a Service

Our BCM as a Service is designed specifically for companies with limited or no business continuity resources.

BCM as a Service

BCM as a Service is suitable for companies with an established business continuity management (BCM) programme that require targeted support in the lifecycle as well as for companies that want to implement a structured system for safeguarding their time-critical business processes for the first time.

Our BCM experts provide you with flexible support, from implementation to continuous improvement – naturally in accordance with the requirements of ISO 22301 and based on BSI 200-4.

Our ‘BCM as a Service’ includes:

  • Establishing a structural and procedural organisation, as well as defining and coordinating roles and responsibilities in governance structures and committees.

  • Defining, coordinating and integrating interfaces to ISM, ITSCM, crisis management, risk management and other relevant systems in internal and external committees.

  • Creation and maintenance of BCM documentation, such as plans, concepts, decision aids and various templates, including their regular review and update.

  • Conducting business impact analyses to identify time-critical business processes, assess the impact of interruptions and prioritise them according to business relevance.

  • Conducting threat and risk assessments to identify potential threats to business continuity, evaluate vulnerabilities and develop appropriate risk mitigation measures.

  • Support in creating solution concepts for the appropriate safeguarding of resources.

  • Development and validation of operational business continuity plans to ensure the restart and recovery of time-critical business processes.

  • Planning and execution of tests and exercises, e.g. simulation games, simulations and recovery exercises, to verify the effectiveness of the BCM measures.

  • Training and awareness-raising measures to promote a ‘continuity culture’ within the company and to increase acceptance among employees.

  • Maturity analyses and compliance checks based on relevant standards (e.g. ISO 22301, BSI 200-4) and legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Governance and reporting through structured reporting and transparent documentation to regularly communicate and optimise the development and effectiveness of BCM.

With our BCM as a Service, you get a flexible and comprehensive solution that is tailored to your specific requirements – whether you are optimising existing structures or setting up a new BCM system.
